Daily Schedule

The conference begins with registration on Monday, September 7, starting at 7:30 AM, allowing attendees to pick up their materials and identification badges. The following events will take place in the ITAM Auditorium:

  • Opening Ceremony
  • Closing Ceremony
  • CLEI Assembly
  • Panel on Emerging Technology Policies
  • Award for Merit in Informatics
  • Keynote Lectures by guest researchers

The toast, the Mexican social and coffee breaks (morning and afternoon) will be served at Plaza Palmeras, an open area near the gymnasium.

Finally, presentations of accepted papers and workshops for the Latin American School of Informatics will take place in six rooms across four daily time slots, running from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Paper presentations for the tracks and associated events will take place in three rooms located on the ground floor, close to one another:

  • Conference Room (Sala de Conferencia)
  • Faculty Room (Sala de Maestros)
  • EPIC Lab (Laboratorio EPIC lab)

In contrast, the Latin American School of Informatics (ELI) will be held in the spaces designated as Bib1, Bib2, and Bib3, located on the first and second floor of the ITAM Library. Registration is required for these workshops, and they carry a fee separate from the main conference registration. Four workshops have been approved; their syllabi and the presenters’ CVs are available on the ELI webpage.

Additionally, the article categories are: Full Paper, Work in Progress, and Journal First; each session will feature papers exclusively from a single track or associated event.

The Latin American School of Informatics includes four workshops:

  • ELI1: Graph Deep Learning: Fundamentals and Applications with Graph Neural Networks
  • ELI2: Data Quality
  • ELI3: Process Mining: Intelligence, Automation, and Sustainability
  • ELI4: Advanced Interaction with Virtual Humans: Architecture, Practical Applications, and Challenges

Details regarding the syllabus and presenter CVs can be found on the Latin American School of Informatics webpage. In principle, all workshops are conducted in Spanish, although most presenters speak English, and the presenters for ELI2 and ELI4 are Portuguese speakers.

All authors and participants can use their own laptops and will have access to ITAM’s wireless network. To connect their chargers keep in mind that the electrical outlets in Mexico are flat plugs (North American standard, Types A and B). Although many outlets are hybrid, don’t forget your outlet adapters depending on your country.
